Ministry of Sound D&AD Poster
I made this poster for a D&AD project a while ago, the brief was to make 3 typographical posters for the Ministry of Sound ‘Saturday Sessions’ event.
In the end I left the project and worked on another as it wasn’t working out well, I then came back to it later and made one of them. As I didn’t have three I didn’t submit it to the competition but I’m pleased with the result and it has been good practice in working with typography.
Hey dude, just thought I’d say that I came across your blog from Newgrounds, I haven’t been on that site in nearly 5 years now, but I went through all my old favourite Flash animations and saw Amnesia, that was like the animation that got me into Flash and CKY, doubt you’re still into that band but I love them now! Anyways dude, just thought I’d say your stuff looks awesome and you definitely got creative flare! Have a good one man.
Thanks it’s always great to hear that stuff i’ve made has influenced people, your response reminds me why animation is such a good thing :). Also yeah I haven’t been on Newgrounds for years either, I think i’m a bit too old for it now.
